On Nov. 28, 2017, also known as #GivingTuesday, every dollar donated to Fields & Futures will be met with a dollar-for-dollar match by Group One Thousand One AND greater effort, better grades, and brighter futures by the very kids who benefit from your support!
In June 2017, when Delaware Life and Group One Thousand One CEO Dan Towriss committed a $1.5 million match to support Fields & Futures, he was driven by the belief that youth sports and education are one of the few remaining ways we have to reach at-risk youth for lasting social change. When he heard the Fields & Futures story and saw the impact created with each new athletic field and complex completed, he made a decision to go all in and help give OKCPS students the school and sports experience they deserve. Today, every dollar donated to the cause qualifies for this very generous match!
At the same time, OKCPS students and student-athletes want to show their thanks by committing to work harder, plan bigger and do what they can to maximize the opportunities given and help create a better quality of life for themselves and all those to follow. We call it the #BigMatch!
