This summer was one to remember for soccer in Oklahoma City Public Schools. Led by Fields & Futures Director of Soccer, Cody Laurendi, the F&F Soccer Pathway provided 175 OKCPS students with no-cost opportunities to train, compete, and stay connected with the world’s game during the summer months.

A Full Summer Lineup

The F&F Soccer Pathway created a packed calendar of camps, training sessions, and special opportunities designed to help kids at every level build skills, confidence, and community.

By hosting free camps, covering registration fees at select events, and creating no-cost pathways into elite-level opportunities, the F&F Soccer Pathway ensured financial barriers were never an obstacle for OKCPS kids this summer.

The combine consisted of training sessions on Friday, followed by 90-minute matches on Saturday and Sunday, allowing the athletes to showcase their skills at match speed.

OKCPS Participation

Four standout male athletes from Classen SAS High School, Southeast High School, and Capitol Hill High School hit the pitch alongside the best amateur soccer players in the Oklahoma City area.

For these student-athletes, the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of pro clubs was a powerful reminder that hard work and perseverance can open doors to the next level.

Why Soccer Matters in OKCPS

Soccer is the most popular sport in the OKCPS community, making it a powerful tool for change. By investing in camps, resources, and high-level opportunities, the F&F Soccer Pathway is creating more than athletes. It’s kickstarting student potential by fueling teamwork, resilience, and personal development.

And under the leadership of Cody Laurendi, that mission goes even further.

Cody knows firsthand the power of soccer to shape lives. His goal isn’t just to get more kids on more teams. It’s to open doors to college scholarships, professional opportunities, and the lifelong lessons that come with pursuing your potential.

Building Futures, One Goal at a Time
