After an eye-opening experience in 2012, Fields & Futures was created to help Oklahoma City Public Schools put more students on a better path to graduation by growing sports participation across the district.
Since then, the fields we have built have helped countless kids from underprivileged communities discover their purpose and potential, putting them on a better path to graduation and life beyond high school.
This year, we are proud to recognize 16 male and female Student-Athletes of the Year from OKCPS high schools for their performance on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities. Even in the face of a worldwide pandemic that cut spring sports and their senior year short, their commitment to athletics and academics never wavered.
