At Fields & Futures, we believe every child in Oklahoma City’s urban core deserves the chance to discover the confidence, friendships, and life-changing lessons that only team sports can teach. Yet right now, just 30 percent of 7th through 12th grade students in Oklahoma City Public Schools suit up for a team—a gap driven almost entirely by financial and resource barriers.
Our vision is bold: raise overall sports participation to 50 percent by 2030, putting 4,000 more kids on more teams and opening a clear pathway from elementary school to high school graduation.
That’s where our Pathway Partners step in.
A Clear Pathway to Play
“Clear the Path. Pave the Way.” isn’t just a tagline—it’s an action plan. Pathway Partners are high-impact donors who align with specific sport “pathways,” investing in multi-year giving plans that directly remove the obstacles that keep kids from playing.
By underwriting essentials such as fees, equipment, coaching support, clinics, transportation, and competition experiences, Pathway Partners turn opportunity gaps into launching pads.
Partnership in Action
Pathway Partners create opportunities for more kids to join more teams by:
- Funding camps, clinics, and competition experiences
- Cultivating game-changing partnerships
- Building culture and stronger communities
- Providing thought leadership for programming efforts
- Ensuring continued program stability
Choose the Sport That Moves You

With more than 70 completed projects (and counting) across 19 OKCPS middle school and high school campuses, the foundation has already been laid. Now we’re building sport-specific pathways that channel resources where they can make the biggest difference:
Soccer
The Soccer Pathway kickstarts student potential by fueling teamwork, resilience, and personal development through the sport of soccer.
Golf
The Golf Pathway drives positive change by giving all students the chance to learn, grow, and find opportunity through the game of golf.
Cheer
The Cheer Pathway elevates student potential by building confidence, community, and opportunity through the sport of cheer.
Tennis
The Tennis Pathway serves up student success by cultivating confidence, character, and community through the game of tennis.
Simon Greiner Program
The Simon Greiner Program trailblazes a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and discipline through cross-country and track & field.
Giving Game Plans
In sports, game plans require flexibility for real-time adjustments. That’s why we’re always ready to tailor our giving plans to reflect a Pathway Partner’s interests and giving priorities.
