According to the State of Obesity by the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, children ages 10 to 17 in Oklahoma had a 2011 obesity rate of 17.4 percent, ranking the state 14th in obesity numbers. For high school students, the current obesity rate for 2015 was 17.3 percent, or sixth out of 43 states studied.
